MGOCSM is the oldest Christian student organization in India. For over a century, we have provided a nurturing environment for high school, college, and university students to deepen their spiritual roots, excel in academic studies, and engage in charitable social action.
Our motto reflects our core identity and daily commitment.
Nurturing a vibrant prayer life, participating in the Holy Qurbana (Eucharist), canonical hours, and understanding the rich liturgical traditions of the Orthodox faith.
Engaging in deep Bible studies, exploring early Church history, understanding Orthodox theology, and pursuing academic excellence with integrity.
Reaching out to society through relief drives, free medical camps, visiting the sick, teaching underprivileged children, and showing Christ's love in action.
To raise a generation of Orthodox Christian students who are spiritually anchored, intellectually equipped, and socially responsible, actively participating in the life and mission of the Holy Church.
To facilitate weekly prayer units, study groups, regional retreats, social outreach, and leadership development activities. We aim to help students navigate challenges on campus while expressing Christian love and charity.

Our journey from a small collegiate gathering in 1908 to a nationwide movement.
Founded as the 'Syrian Student Conference' by a group of visionary student leaders in Madras (Chennai) to nurture Christian fellowship among collegiate students.
The first annual conference was held at Tiruvalla, presided over by Metropolitan His Grace Pulikkottil Joseph Mar Dionysius II, setting the tone for theological discussions and student leadership.
Renamed as the 'Mar Gregorios Orthodox Christian Student Movement' (MGOCSM) in honor of Saint Gregorios of Parumala, our patron saint who championed the education of students.
Celebrated 75 years of student empowerment, cementing MGOCSM's status as the oldest Christian student movement in India with active units across multiple states.
Marked 100 years of glorious service. Commemorated with national initiatives, educational grants, and expanded spiritual missions for the student community.
Continuing to guide over 50 units and 1000+ students in the Trivandrum Diocese under the apostolic presidency of the Diocesan Metropolitan.
